Our Verified Advocate Network

Every advocate on Vettify is registered with the Bangladesh Bar Council. We verify their enrollment, check their credentials, and monitor their performance — so you can trust the opinion you receive.

How We Verify

1. The advocate submits their Bar Council enrollment certificate, practice details, and educational credentials.
2. Vettify cross-checks the enrollment against the Bangladesh Bar Council register (where publicly available) or retains a copy of the certificate on file.
3. The advocate signs a consent form specifying which credentials are displayed publicly. Bar Council enrollment numbers are shown only with explicit written consent.
4. A "Verified by Vettify" badge with the verification date is displayed on the advocate's profile.

What You See About Your Lawyer

When Vettify matches you with an advocate for your case, you see:

• Full name and photo
• Practice areas (e.g., property law, family law, tax)
• Languages spoken (English, Bengali)
• Bar Council enrollment status (verified by Vettify)
• Track record on the platform (number of opinions delivered)

Bar Council enrollment numbers are displayed only when the advocate has given explicit written consent. By default, you see a "Bar enrolled, verified by Vettify" badge.

Our Credential Standards

Vettify maintains the following standards for advocate credentials on the platform:

• Every advocate must be enrolled with the Bangladesh Bar Council.
• Enrollment is verified before the advocate takes their first case on Vettify.
• Verification is re-checked periodically (at least annually).
• Advocates with lapsed enrollment or disciplinary action are removed from the active network.
• The "Advocate" title is used only for Bar Council-enrolled practitioners, in accordance with the Bangladesh Legal Practitioners and Bar Council Order, 1972.

Vettify is a legal opinion marketplace, not a law firm. Advocates on the platform are independent practitioners who have enrolled with the Bangladesh Bar Council. Vettify verifies their enrollment and monitors quality but does not employ them as staff.
